Animal:indian muntjak
Sex and Age:M :1-day-old
Scientific Name: Muntiacus muntjak
Case history: normal
Classification: normal
Tissue prepared:thymus
Date cell culture started:--/--/1991
History of the cell:Takaoka,T. -> JCRB Cell Bank
Medium: DM201 medium only. Serum free.
Passage method: Cells are harvested by scraper gently and resuspend in to fresh medium.
Life span: infinite
Morphology: epithelial-like
Characteristics: The Mm2T12.P3 has different characteristics from the original strain. An addition of 2% FCS induces chromosomal averation to the Mm2T12.P3 cell line. Chromosoma digestion observed at the beginning and later chrosomosome number increases.
